In the age of technology, water damage is an important issue. Many people don’t realize the importance of a good damage restoration company. A good Restoration company like SERVPRO Northwest Long Beach can help you to get your property back in good condition as quickly as possible. Ten of the best reasons for water damage restoration are mentioned in this article.
- It Aids in the Prevention of Water Contamination
Water contamination is a very serious issue, and thus it is important that we take care of our homes and offices so that they do not become contaminated with harmful bacteria or viruses. Such damage can cause many problems, such as mold growth. Having concrete damage control methods in place will prevent these issues from occurring.
- It Helps Reduce Mold Growth and Other Hazards
The reduction in the growth of molds and other hazards will help prevent additional damage from occurring. If there is some kind of water leak, then it is necessary to have a professional come over and check out the situation. They will also be able to tell if there is any kind of leakage in the home or office. In this case, the problem should be fixed immediately.
- It Ensures All Contents of the House Remain Safe
If there is any kind of leak in the home or office, then it is very likely that the content inside the home or office could get damaged. This means that all the items stored within the home or office may get ruined. The presence of water damage can lead to the destruction of furniture, electronics, etc. Therefore, it is important that the condition is repaired as soon as possible.
- It Makes Sure that the Home or Office Remains Dry
Having a wet home or office can be extremely uncomfortable. There are chances that the moisture present in the home or office can make the air feel damp. This makes it difficult to breathe properly. Also, the humidity level in the home or office increases when there is water damage. This can result in various kinds of diseases. Thus, having a professional come over and repair the leak is highly recommended.
- It Helps Remove Odors
Odors are one of the most unpleasant things about water damage. When there is such a situation, there is always a strong smell associated with it. This is because the water has been leaking into the walls, floors, ceilings, etc., for quite some time now. Once the odor starts to dissipate, it is advisable that the professionals come over and fix the leak.
- It Improves the Appearance of the Home or Office.
When there is water damage, it is usually accompanied by a lot of mess. This includes water stains on the floor, walls, etc. The presence of such damage can also result in the discoloration of the ceiling and walls. This is why it is important that the leak is fixed as soon as possible. The sooner the leak is fixed, the better the results will be.
- It Prevents Further Damage to the Home or Office.
When there is water damage, the first thing that happens is that the walls start to crack. This is due to the fact that the water pressure is too high. As a result, the walls start to break down. This leads to more cracks appearing. Over time, the leaks can spread throughout the entire wall. This is why it’s imperative that the leak is fixed right away.
- It Reduces the Risk of a Fire
Fire is another major concern that people face when their homes or offices become flooded. This is because the water can easily find its way into electrical outlets, appliances, pipes, etc. This can cause a serious fire hazard. Therefore, it is essential that the leak is fixed so that the fire does not occur.
- It Protects the Value of the Home or Office
The presence of such a situation can affect the overall look and feel of your home or office. This can lower the value of your property. However, a properly executed restoration will prevent that from happening.
- It Increases the Lifespan of the Home or Office.
If no immediate action is taken after a flood occurs, the home or office will continue to deteriorate. This is because the moisture will remain trapped inside the walls and other parts of the house. Eventually, the walls will begin to crumble. This will lead to mold growth which will eventually rot the wood.
If you have ever had such a situation in your home or office, then you know how expensive it can be. It is very important that you hire a professional who knows what they are doing.

When Flushing The Toilet, Water Remains On The Floor
8/11/2022 (Permalink)
Contact SERVPRO Northwest Long Beach to determine the cause of your toilet leak, make any necessary repairs, and help prevent further problems.
No one wants to flush the toilet, only to find water leaking out onto the floor around it. In most cases, however, a leaking toilet isn't cause for alarm and is usually an easy fix. All you need to do is figure out what's causing it and take steps to remedy the problem. Here's what to look for:
Take a Look at the Wax Seal
At the base of the toilet is a wax gasket that creates a seal between the toilet and the floor. Normally, when the seal is tight, the water flows straight down into the pipe when you flush. However, if the wax dries out and becomes brittle, it can develop cracks or pull away from one or both surfaces, allowing water to escape out from under the toilet base. If that's the case, it's as simple as replacing the old gasket with a new one.
Make Sure the Tank is Tight
If the toilet tank isn't on tight, water can escape from the juncture where the tank meets the bowl of the leaking toilet. Try wiggling it — the tank shouldn't move. If it does, it needs to be tightened. Turn off the water supply and empty the tank as much as possible. Then, tighten the bolts inside to secure the tank firmly to the bowl.
Check the Tank Flange
The flange is the mechanism inside the tank that allows the water to fill and empty into the toilet. If the arm piece is broken, you can use a repair strap to fix it, or, in the worst-case scenario, replace the mechanism altogether. It should go without saying, but don't do anything to address your bathroom leak without shutting off the water supply first. If the steps outlined above aren't causing your leaking toilet, it's a good idea to call in professionals to fix the problem.
Contact a plumber or a water damage specialist in Northwest Long Beach to determine the cause, make the repairs necessary and help you prevent any further issues.
Humidity and Moisture Damage
8/10/2022 (Permalink)
If you have questions or need help identifying if your home has moisture damage, Call SERVPRO Northwest Long Beach to assist today (562)506-4992.
Humidity (or the level of humidity in the air) is something you cannot avoid. Humidity can cause discomfort and make the air feel sticky. Different types of moisture damages occur at different humidity levels. The average relative humidity level can be found by looking to the local weather reports in your area. Maintenance of most objects below 50% RH at room temperature can protect items from moisture caused damages. These are four great reasons to manage indoor humidity.
Bathrooms grow mold and mildew
The bathroom is probably the most humid room in your home. You release more moisture to the air every time you use hot water for washing your hands or take a hot bath. Moisture-laden air is a perfect environment to grow mold and mildew. This can have serious consequences for your health. Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent mold spores from entering your home. Even if you get rid of all the mold spores, they will still be there the next time you open a window or door. Controlling the interior humidity is the only way to stop mold and mildew growing in your home. Mold grows and proliferates at a temperature range of 12~38°C when humidity is greater than 60%. Mold and mildew are not only dangerous to your health but can also cause damage to walls and floors. Concrete and glass are porous materials that can be cleaned. However, porous surfaces such as carpet, fabric and drywall must be removed and replaced.
Hardwood Flooring Warps
Hardwood floors can be very sensitive to humidity. The wood floors can become warped, expanded, or separated if the air is too dry. Experts recommend maintaining a home between 40-60 percent humidity to preserve hardwood. Engineered hardwood is a better choice than traditional hardwood in humid regions, as it’s more resilient to humidity. Engineered wood flooring is made by pressing layers and glues of wood together. It doesn’t need to attach to the subfloor and won’t expand and contract with the seasons. It’s easy to keep humidity under control and protect your beautiful flooring by following a few easy steps. For example, use your bathroom fan when you release moisture.
HVAC Systems Struggle
Ambient humidity can affect your HVAC system. Each home HVAC system includes either a vacuum pump or a condensate drainage to remove condensation from the pipes. You will collect more condensation the higher your humidity is. It can leak into the vicinity of the air handler, creating a breeding ground for mold or mildew. Your HVAC system can be put under strain if there is too much humidity. Due to the increased humidity, your home may feel warmer inside. Experts recommend that the humidity, or the level of humidity, be kept below 50% during the summer when humidity can be a problem. The winter brings about a drop in humidity, which can make it uncomfortable. To avoid chapped lips and dry noses when it is cold outside, keep your interior moisture levels between 30-40%.
Keep It Comfy
Although humidity is not something you can avoid, it doesn’t mean that you need to live with dry winter air or hot sticky summer air. It’s important to maintain a healthy humidity level in your home. Too much can cause damage. By washing, cooking and breathing, the average family creates up to 20 pints (11.36 Liters) of moisture every day. This moisture must go somewhere and be dealt with to avoid condensation. However, condensation could appear in many forms and the most common being steaming windows. And in extreme cases, dark spots of mold will appear. Condensation is the result of a buildup of moisture caused by our normal lifestyle and it's unavoidable.

Essential Signs You Might Have Hidden Water Damage In Your Home
7/15/2022 (Permalink)
Don't Let water damage go unnoticed, call SERVPRO Northwest Long Beach today!
There are many reasons for water damage to a home or building, and some are more obvious than others. While a burst pipe or a sink overflowing is easily identified and repaired, water damage can sometimes not be immediately apparent. Hidden water damage signs can be difficult to spot.
Unnoticed water damage can cause structural damage and cost thousands in repair costs. Hidden water leaks in basements, slow leaks in roofs, and even a dripping faucet could cause damage to a building.
Are you unsure if there is hidden water damage to your home or business premises? You can identify if you should call a professional by looking for these signs.
Listed below are signs of hidden water damage that you should look for in your home:
- Mold Growth.Visible mold can be a sign that there is a water problem. Mold can grow when the humidity level is high in a house. Mold can often grow in seams between ceilings and floors. There are several methods to get rid of mild mold growth. A Long Beach mold remediation firm can help you identify the source of large-scale mold infestations and remove it.
- Musty Odors:The most obvious sign of water damage is the musty smell. Mold and dampness are the main causes of musty smells. Even without visible mold growth, musty smells can still occur. Moldy smells or musty odors can be caused by moisture, poor air circulation, and darkening. It is not possible to cover up the problem by covering it up. It is important to identify the source of unpleasant odors in your home before further damage occurs.
- Wallpaper and Peeling Paint:The appearance of peeling wallpaper and paint is an indicator that there may be hidden water damage. Water can cause wallpaper and paint to loose their adhesiveness to sheetrock and drywall. This is not only unattractive, but it can also cause further damage that may be difficult to repair.
- Discoloration and Stains:We have all seen water stained ceilings and drywall. Although it might seem tempting to cover up the discoloration with paint, you should not ignore signs of water damage. Leakage or discoloration may indicate a leaky roof, or leaking pipes beneath drywall. You should seek out the source of any discolorations or stains and contact a professional.
- Wavy Floors, Walls and Ceilings:Water can cause wood and drywall to buckle and warp. These materials can absorb water and cause structural damage that can lead to hazards. Water damage can cause walls to crack or floors to creak.
- Sudden jump in utility bills:It is normal for utility bills to jump, especially in the first cold spell or when spring gardens are being planted. Hidden leaks may be indicated by other jumps in your water bills. To see trends in water usage, pay close attention to your monthly bill. Unexpected spikes in water usage could indicate a problem.
- Water Damage under the Sink:It is difficult to see water from a leaking bathroom or kitchen sink. Many homeowners don’t inspect their plumbing fixtures often. Although some moisture is normal under the sink, a drip or a leak can prove to be a problem.
WHAT DO YOU DO IF A WATER ISSUE
It is important to act immediately if you discover a water leakage or water damage. Although a minor discoloration or mild musty odor may seem manageable, they can cause more serious damage and problems for homeowners.
Water can cause structural damage that can lead to unsafe living conditions, and costly home renovations.

Extracting Water
The most common and invasive type of damage that can happen in any home is water damage. It can occur due to natural conditions, such as heavy rain or flooding, or can be due to internal issues, such as leaking pipes, roofs, or fixtures.
Water damage ruins most homes without the owner knowing. If you find yourself in this situation, do not attempt to address it on your own. Instead, hire a water restoration specialist to handle the problem and restore your home.
Here is why hiring a professional is a better decision than fixing the problem yourself:
Water damage restoration professionals are called professionals for a reason. They have the right equipment to ensure that water and moisture from your home are fully removed. The state-of-the-art equipment they use is consists of the following:
Having a right equipment is the key
- Shop vacs: This is a special kind of vacuum that can suck up liquid.
- Air movers: These help with the drying process by facilitating evaporation. They also bring down the humidity level in your home to an acceptable level.
- Powerful dehumidifiers: These are used for removing water in the air, structural elements, and other furnishings in your home.
- Water damage restoration professionals know how urgent water damage is, and a quick response is crucial to ensure that the damage will not spread further. It will only take them around two to four hours to contain the damage and prevent it from reaching other parts of the house.
- These professionals arrive in teams that take care of various aspects that need immediate attention. This strategy can shorten the drying time and speed up the restoration process
- The worst thing that can happen from water damage is the growth of mold and mildew, and restoration professionals know this and will work quickly to address it. Using the right equipment and cleaning products, they will start their mold remediation once the water damage is under control. This part should only be handled by professionals since the materials they use can be hazardous to one’s health if mishandled or misused.

Stopping Water Damage

Stopping Water Damage From Appliances
The occurrence of water damage to the home can cause major issues regardless of what the source is, but water damage that goes unnoticed for a long period of time can create compounding issues.
Common household appliances are some of the worst culprits of this—making it so important for homeowners to do regular checks to cover all their bases.
Water Damage-Causing AppliancesHot Water Heater
Hot water heaters are built to last for up to 15 years, but can often begin leaking and require repairs long before this. As the hoses and seals begin to break down with time, it becomes vital to check on the water heater often to watch for any leaks that could become an issue.
Refrigerator
Because refrigerator water lines typically run between the unit and the wall, making a point to check for leaks is important. Without pulling the refrigerator from the wall, many leaks would be impossible to notice, leading to large sections of your structure that have sustained water damage for a long period of time. Include checking behind the refrigerator on your home’s seasonal maintenance checklist to ensure any leaks do not go on for too long.
Dishwasher
Dishwashers are similar to refrigerators in that they are rarely moved, and they also utilize a much larger volume of water, which can lead to larger leaks. Insurance coverage is not always applicable to damages from older dishwashers, so catching leaks early is key to preventing being stuck with a large bill.
Washing Machine
The washing machine uses quite a bit of water and is so prone to leaking it is recommended that the hoses are checked on a monthly basis and are replaced at least every five years, even if there are no noticeable leaks or issues present.
Air Conditioner
The HVAC unit will generally create moisture as it runs and drain it away itself. That being said, if there are issues with the water lines or drains, issues can occur. A backup of water can cause damage inside and around your unit before it is even noticed, making it vital to keep up with your scheduled maintenance and to check your unit often during the warmer months.

What to do after water damage
12/8/2019 (Permalink)
What to do after water damage;
One of the most damaging and devastating things you can experience as a homeowner is water damage. Whether it is due to flooding, burst pipes, sewer backups, roof damage due to severe storms or a leaky toilet when you are out of town – all can cause major water damage in your home. No matter what the cause, it is important to have a plan of action and know what you should do if your house floods. In fact, taking swift action can significantly improve your ability to reduce the costs of repair. Here’s what you should do after you experience water damage that will help reduce the amount of damage after and will make clean-up and repair easier.
Avoid additional risk;
If the water damage was serious enough for you to have to evacuate your home, be sure you and your family remain safe upon your return. Agencies like the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) advises that you should check for the following things you’re your return to ascertain if it is safe to occupy your home:
If insured, contact your Insurance Company
No matter if you are experiencing water damage from a flood or leaky toilet, you should contact your insurance company ASAP. In fact, it’s a good idea to have their number in your phone so you are not searching for their contact information during a highly stressful time. Remember, time is of the essence! In cases where flooding is affecting a widespread area, your agent may be handling multiple homeowners (or even their own). If you find yourself having a hard time getting in touch with your agent, contact the insurance company’s headquarters.
Once you are in touch with your insurance representative, the first thing you need to do is disclose the state of your home. Make sure you take diligent notes regarding the conversation and follow their direction about whether to wait for an adjuster to inspect the property before making repairs. You will most likely find new damage that will require multiple conversations, so be sure to document EVERYTHING!
In most cases your insurance company will advise you to contact your local Restoration Company.
We at SERVPRO of Northwest Long Beach are preferred vendor with most Insurance Companies. Our technicians are available 24/7 to assist with any size water damage you may experience.

Water damage from Strom
9/26/2019 (Permalink)
When it comes to thunderstorms, lightning is one of the most dramatic (and most dangerous) displays of their power. The storm transferring its energy to a lightning bolt can cause fires to start, electronics to be ruined and home structures to be compromised. Understanding the origins of lightning and how to prepare for it can go a long way in protecting your home.
<h3thunderstorms-develop-lightning">How Thunderstorms Develop Lightning
The electrical charge inherent to all thunderstorms serves as the foundation for thunder and lightning. When a lightning bolt strikes, it is actually the storm dispelling some of its energy into surrounding clouds or toward the ground.
The earth’s atmosphere does not make an ideal conductor of electricity, so lightning will often strike an object it can travel through instead. This is why lightning strikes to homes are so common and so dangerous.
<h3for-home-protection">Tips for Home Protection
Knowing some background info about lightning provides context for protecting your home from the common types of damage that it can cause.
Protect from fire damage. Lightning bolts have been recorded as hitting temperatures of 500,000 degrees, which is hot enough to ignite most building materials on impact. The damage lightning causes to wires can also give rise to electrical fires within a home’s walls, either immediately or in the future. An electrician or the local fire department can often test for hot spots within the walls to determine your risk.
Protect your appliances. As the charge of lightning is routed through the wires, it is transferred to everything in the home’s grid—including things plugged into the wall. Surge protectors are a simple and cost-effective tool that can do wonders in preventing this.
Protect your home’s foundation. Shock waves are produced every time lightning strikes, which is what causes the claps of thunder we hear. At close range, such as when lightning strikes near a home, these waves are strong enough to crack foundations and shatter windows. A structural inspection should be performed if lightning strikes in your home’s vicinity.
If your home has been affected by storm damages or lightning-related fires, give us a call today! We are experts in damage cleanup and can restore your damage quickly.
Water Damage

Water is an absolute requirement in daily life and so beneficial. But it also can take on a more sinister side and lead to much damage periodically.
There are many different things that can cause water damage—are you familiar with the numerous things that are behind it?
Key Causes of Water DamageFrom 2009 to 2015, The Travelers Insurance Companies Inc. found that the top five causes of home claims were:
- Exterior wind damage
- Non-weather-related water damage
- Hail
- Weather-related water damage
- Theft
Did you notice that water appears on this list twice? Better question—are you surprised by this? Because of its prevalence on the list, water is broken into two classifications: non-weather-related and weather-related.
Non-weather-related issues can come from things like plumbing and appliances, while weather-related damage naturally consists of issues from rain and snow.
The top five causes for water damage are plumbing issues, leaky washing machines, bursting water pipes, older water heaters and bad weather.
How You Can Prevent Some Water DamageWater damage is a costly experience to be sure, one that could be so much worse if it isn’t covered by your homeowners insurance plan. Have you taken the time to review your policy lately? Here are some of the damages caused by water that should be covered in a standard homeowners policy:
- Damages caused by from weight of wintery elements
- Discharge and overflow of water, even by accident
- Tearing apart, cracking, burning or bulging of a steam or hot water heating system
- Freezing of plumbing and pipes
Avoiding water-related issues and potential damage situations is possible.
Make use of the following preventive fixes and routine maintenance suggestions to help your home remain free and clear of water issues:
- Applying water sensors and automatic shut-off valves
- Getting back flow valves and standpipes put in basement drains
- Clearing the gutters and downspouts of debris
- Taking time to flush the hot water tank every six months
- Keeping grease out the kitchen sink and drain
Hopefully you can make use of these tips and help keep your property safer from some forms of water damage
Water damage can be a nightmare to deal with, but fortunately, you will always have SERVPRO® of Northwest Long Beach on your side to help with the cleanup and restoration process.
Preparing Your Household for a Flood
7/1/2019 (Permalink)
While you might think that flooding at your home is unlikely, you might be surprised.
Some form of flooding is included in approximately 90% of natural disasters. It is essential for homeowners to be aware of the dangers and understand what they can do to protect their home.
How to Prepare for a Flood in Your HomeWhile a flood cannot be prevented, there are steps homeowners can take to reduce the extensive damage a flood could cause:
Know your risk. Use the FEMA Flood Map Tool to understand the historical flooding in your area and learn what your actual risks are.
Anchor propane and fuel tanks. If a fuel tank tips over due to a flood, it can lead to a dangerous spill or even a fire. Remove fuel tanks from the property or anchor them securely.
Raise hazardous materials. Chemicals can pollute floodwater and even cause a fire risk in some cases. If you have hazardous materials in your garage, elevate them so they are out of the water’s way.
Prepare appliances. Risers can be made from household items such as bricks or cinder blocks to elevate washers or refrigerators. The internal workings can be damaged if waterlogged.
Turn off electricity. Though water may not reach electrical sockets, it can still pose a hazard for dangerous currents to travel. Cut electricity to keep everyone safe.
Discuss emergency procedures. Discuss a disaster plan and evacuation route with your family so everyone is aware of the procedure. Show all adults and older children where to turn off the electricity and gas mains in the house—and keep emergency supplies handy.
Consider a safety deposit box. Items considered irreplaceable, such as family memorabilia, tax records and household documents, might be best stored in a safety deposit box off-site so they will not be destroyed.
By planning ahead, you can keep your family safe and ensure that your home does not sustain any unnecessary damage as well. Taking proper precautions can make a large difference in the damage sustained.
If you’ve experienced water damage due to a flood or other causes, SERVPRO® of Northwest Long Beach is here to help. Our technicians are fully trained in water remediation, and our 24⁄7 Emergency Line means we’ll be there for you when you call.

Common Misconceptions about Mitigation & Restoration
5/22/2018 (Permalink)
There are many misconceptions regarding the mitigation and restoration of property damage. However, professional restoration companies are trained to see beyond these myths and to apply the right course of action to mitigate the damages.
Common misconceptions and the truth behind them:
- Replacing costs less than restoring. A trained restoration company should be able to successfully clean and remove contaminates, avoiding the high costs of replacement.
- If you clean your carpets, they’ll get dirty more quickly. This was true in the past, when the techniques, equipment and materials that were used left a soap residue that attracted dirt more than before cleaning. Nowadays, the cleaning process prevents that from happening.
- Drying a home is complete when the carpets are dry. The drying process is complete only when all the structural items, such as cement floors and walls, are totally dry. To measure the moisture levels, professionals use advanced meters and sensors.
- A home that has been damaged by fire will always smell like smoke, so cleaning it fast is unnecessary. If you don’t clean the smoke residue immediately after a fire, the valuables in your home may suffer irreversible damage, due to the acidic nature of the smoke particles.
- It’s cheaper to do it yourself rather than hire a restoration company. This holds true in some cases, but you must be extremely careful, since a botched repair can cost you more in the long run.
There are other misconceptions that could hinder the mitigation and restoration of property damage after a disaster. When in doubt, always consult a trained professional restoration company, such as SERVPRO of Northwest Long Beach.

Sewage Backup Dangers & What to Do
5/22/2018 (Permalink)
The last thing any homeowner wants to deal with is a sewage backup. It may not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of potentially terrible things that can happen to your home, but having sewage backup flood your home is truly dangerous. Sewage back up dangers effect not just to your home, but primarily to your health.
Sewage backup, which can occur following a flood or if your home’s sewage system gets backed up, can cause various diseases and be hazardous to your health.
So what is it that causes sewage backup? There are various factors at play, but plenty of things can result in your home having a sewage backup problem. Structural defects, root infiltration, improper flushes, which means items that shouldn’t be flushed down the toilet, wet weather, flooding around and under your home, planning problems with sewage lines, pipe blockages and broken or leaking pipes can all be responsible. So being aware of these things can help prevent possible sewage backup in your home. So be sure to keep an eye out for these things, and be sure not to flush anything strange down the toilet.
Should the worst happen and you do find yourself with a sewage backup situation, it must be handled by a professional in a timely manner.

What you should know about Water Damage
4/4/2018 (Permalink)
A flooded family room caused by a storm.
Most of the time it’s easy to think only about water’s life affirming properties especially during the heat of summer when rain means relief from the blistering temperatures. However, like the other essential elements of nature, water both sustains life and it can destroy it as well. For this reason, insurance companies recognize water as one of the forces – along with fire, wind, etc. – that can damage your home and property and even endanger the safety of your family. Here are some things homeowners should keep in mind about water and the damage it can cause.
Water fuels mold growth: Oxygen, moisture and organic materials are all essential to the growth of mold. In fact, mold can grow in as little as 24 to 48 hours under the right conditions. If your home has excessive moisture present, then your home is likely to also be a breeding ground for mold.
Water is a “universal solvent”: Water is known to capable of dissolving more materials than any other liquid. This means that when it comes to your home, all materials in it are susceptible to water damage.
There are different insurance policies for flood damage and water damage: As far as insurance companies are concerned, damage caused to a policyholder’s home by a flood and water damage caused by other sources is different. Thus, when reporting water damage to your insurance company, be sure to specify whether the damage was caused by water, e.g., a burst pipe, etc. or by a flood.
There are three categories of water contamination: Our industry has three classifications of water contamination: categories 1, 2 and 3. Water from category 1 is from clean water sources such as an overflowing bathtub. Water from category 2 contains a significant degree of chemical, biological, and/or physical contamination. This is known as grey water. Water from category 3 is highly contaminated. This water is known as black water.
Water damage gets worse not better: Once water damage begins it usually gets worse unless professionals are called. Water damage repair must be done by professionals. Homeowners should never take the DIY approach to this task.
So, know who to call, us at SERVPRO of Northwest Long Beach. Our staff is highly trained in property damage restoration. From initial and ongoing training at SERVPRO’s corporate training facility to regular IICRC-industry certification, rest assured our staff is equipped with the knowledge to restore your property.
