The Rain Appeared to Be Traveling Horizontally

Strong winds and heavy rain penetrated this Long Beach home's walls forcefully.   SERVPRO of Northwest Long Beach arrived within an hour of the call, identified exterior damage, removed saturated insulation, walls and carpet.  Because of rapid response mold had not become an issue. Debris was removed and properly disposed, area was cleaned, and Dehumidifying equipment and air movers were strategically placed to minimize formulated drying time. After moisture readings indicated normal moisture, we then went proceeded to wipe all surfaces, sanitize and prepare for reconstruction.  All proceeded on plan and re-construction and painting was completed.  In the after picture all was back to original condition and carpet installers had been notified that they could complete installation of new carpet.
