Slow and Repeated Seepage Leads to Mold

A long term hidden leak surprised one of SERVPRO of Northwest Long Beach homeowners.  Upon moving a very comfortable corner chair, the homeowner was shocked to see an area of mold growing on the wall.  

A leak was identified at the electrical junction on the exterior of the house.  Water had been slowly entering and creating the perfect conditions for mold growth.  After completing moisture mapping, we identified the area of drywall and insulation that would need to be removed to allow for proper drying and remediation.  The owner expressed great gratitude for quick SERVPRO action.  We were able to contained the problem and prevented a worse mold condition... "Like it never even happened."
